What is shade-grown coffee?
Coffee grown beneath a forest canopy instead of on cleared, full-sun land. The trees overhead shelter the coffee plants and the birds and wildlife that live among them. Karafa says its coffee protects over 2.5 million acres of tropical forest and supports over 150 bird species.
Why a La Marzocco?
La Marzocco has built espresso machines by hand in Florence, Italy, since 1927, by its own description.
What is a Spanish latte?
A latte sweetened with condensed milk instead of syrup, which makes it rich, creamy and gently sweet. Ours blends two shots of Karafa espresso with sweetened condensed milk, topped with velvety steamed milk. It comes hot in the red Karafa cup, or iced.
What's in a Date Cardamom Latte?
Date sauce for a deep, natural sweetness, a little warm cardamom, and our bold Karafa espresso with milk. If you like chai spice but want coffee, start here.
What else should I try?
The Pistachio White Mocha, nutty and sweet, and the Blackberry White Mocha, jammy blackberry with white chocolate. Café Miele, with honey and cinnamon. Or, iced, the Dumont Blanc: espresso shaken with vanilla over ice, with orange-vanilla cold foam and fresh orange zest.
Every coffee can be made with any of our flavours: ask, and our baristas are happy to. See them all on our coffee page.
Do you have regular coffee too?
Yes: Americano, Latte, Cappuccino, Flat White, Mocha and a double-shot espresso, plus Hot Chocolate. And fresh bakes from small bakers here in Greenville, which change with the seasons and the occasions: come by and see what's in the case.
